On May 2000 the idea arised to create an institution who would support the Mexican society through education and formation values, starting with the Zihuatanejo's community. On October 11th that same year, the "Casa para niños del Pacífico" was founded.

The "Casa para niños del Pacífico" is located in a rent-based property on Zihuatanejo. This building was adapted with kitchen, bathrooms, offices, workshops, a multi-purpouse hall and security-related adaptations. . All of this with the purpose of using it like a functional and comfortable activity center for the children.

The main objective of creating this house is to give integral formation to the education of children without means of support. The children are actually studying primary school, that is with ages between 6 and 12 years and a good grade average.

Inside this house, children receive psyichological support, school-related orientation and many workshops, like:

• Computer Sciences
• English
• Manual Arts
• Reading
• Help with homework
• Others

In addition we also give them feeding, dress and scholastic material in order to continue their studies.

All the children have the opportunity to be supported in moral and economic terms so they can continue their studies by means of a program made by the institution.
